Trufax: I wanna go to Dollywood and I want to meet Dolly and while I know I won’t be able to say anything intelligent I want to kiss her hand and thank her for being a lady and a role model and a hero. Once when I felt that I was worth nothing and nobody would ever love me I caught a bit on a program about her youth and her life and back then we didn’t have “It Gets Better” videos or support for anybody but the most pretty and interesting asexual gay males. It was Dolly who showed me that it doesn’t matter if the whole world is against you or if every body laughs at you or objectifies you. Someone can fetishize me into next week and that STILL can’t take away one tiny itty bitty bit of my worth and value as a human.
Dolly, between you and Mel Brooks I learned that I can be as awesome as I am and survive and that I can laugh at anybody who tries to reduce my human existence and worth. Thank you, Ma’am. I love you.

She’s a hero of mine. A titspiration, if you will.
